The Favorites list provide users with the ability to maintain a list of shortcuts to Cabinets, Drawers, Folders and documents that are accessed frequently. Favorites are broken down into two sections: the first section represent items that a user selects to be viewed on the favorites list. The second list show a history of documents that were last accessed.
The Favorites feature can be accessed on the DocuXplorer Desktop under the Library Tree or when using the ’r;Place in folder’ option when adding documents. The chevrons ^ on each.

Dialog options:
Use Folder Default Index: Check this option to use the selected folders Index Set when editing an existing document and using the Place In Folder feature
OK: Select the OK button to select the Folder you wish to place the document in. This option will be grayed out if the selection item is not a folder or you do not have permission to add a document to the selected folder.
Cancel: This is close the dialog and cancel you selection
Create Folder: This option will allow you to place you document in to a new Folder.
Right Click Menu Options:
Favorites/Recent Document Settings: Each of the favorite items list have right click menu items to manage and maintain the lists
Rename - This feature allows a user to rename the selected item as a name can sometimes tend be longer then needed. This does not affect the original tem’s name.
Remove - This feature allows a user to remove an item from a list as a Favorite become less useful.
Maximum Items - This feature allows users to adjust the maximum number of items that can be stored. The default is 10 but as many as 1,000 items can be maintained.
Refresh - At times, the list may become out-of-date as a result of others sharing the list adding and removing items within it. This feature allows a user to have the list redrawn to show the current items.
Document Items:
Open Document Viewer: This option opens the selected document and can be execute by double clicking on the document item
Show Document Folder: This option locates the Documents Cabinet, Drawer and Folder and select the Library Tree to the documents location
Properties: This option shows the Documents Properties, such as General settings, Version control, Permission etc...
Adding Favorite Items:
Favorite items can be added from the right-click menu items for Cabinets, Drawers, Folders and documents. Simply right-click on an item in the Library tree or Document list view and select ’r;Add to Favorites.’ The item in the Favorites list will then appear in alphabetical and date order, while the Recent Documents list appear in descending order by date.
