From the DocuXplorer's Desktop Ribbon Tab select Home | Options | Import Engine
The 
symbol next to a property group indicates that settings are applied globally
to all users. If the symbol is absent, settings apply only to the currently
logged-in user.
Only administrators have the authority to modify these properties.
Import Engine settings bridge the gap between standardized product behavior and individual user requirements. These configurations manage key functional areas, including Import Jobs, and Import Logs.
Import Jobs
Processing Folder - This is the Root directory where temporary import files are processed. Ensure this folder is located on a local drive; the import engine cannot access network or mapped drives.
Import Engine Location: By default, this is set to the server where DocuXplorer is installed.
Events Log
Retention Period: The default is 7 days; this setting limits how long records of executed import jobs are kept in the system.
