Quick-Start Index Sets are a function of DocuXplorer's ability to Import and Export Index Sets. Quick-Start Index Sets are predefined sets of index fields that are specific to an industry and document type. Predefined Index Sets allow a user to get their DocuXplorer Library set up with minimal effort. These templates provide a user with a starting set of index fields to build on. Add or remove fields in these Index Sets to create an Index Set specific to your own business process.
Quick-Start Index Sets are used in DocuXplorer integrations with 3rd party software. QuickBooks and Junxure are just two products that have DocuXplorer integration.
Quick-Start Index Sets are provided for the following industries and document types:
General Business
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Human Resources
Contracts
Documentation and Procedures
Financial Services and Advisors
Client Documents
Health Care and Medical Providers
Patient Records
Insurance

Real Estate
Real Estate Management
Construction

The Quick-Start Index Sets are stored in C:\Program Files\DocuXplorer 4\Templates\IndexSets in the Professional or Personal versions.
For Enterprise the Templates are in ?:\DXDOCS\DXInstall\Templates\.
Quick-Start Index Sets can be imported to an existing Cabinet but it is recommended that a new Cabinet, Drawer and Folder structure be created and defaulted to the Quick-Start Index Set.
right-click the Library icon on the Library
Select "Create Cabinet" from the menu
Rename the Cabinet (i.e. Client Documents)
Rename the Drawer (i.e. A)
Rename the Folder (i.e. Able, Max)
Highlight the Folder and select Index Set Tools from the Icon Tool Bar
Select Manage Index Sets
In the Index Set Manager select <File><Import Index Set>
Browse to the Quick-Start Index Sets location as described above
Select a Quick-Start Index Set to import to DocuXplorer
Once imported the Index Set becomes part of your Library and is ready to use or modify .The imported Index Set contains pre-defined fields that are appropriate to that document type. Since each organization may have processes or requirements that are slightly different, Quick-Start Index Sets can be modified to fit a user's specific business needs.
Tip:
It is recommended that you default the Index Set to at least the Folder and possibly to the entire Cabinet so that all new folders will automatically default to the proper Index Set.
